About
I was born in Leicestershire and moved to Hampshire in 1968 where I have lived ever since. I started my family research about 7 years ago with my mother's side. She was born in Ystradgynlais but moved to Hampshire along with her mother and 2 older brothers after her father was killed in a mining accident in 1934. I never asked much about her Welsh family before she died so this quest to find out as much as I can is a tribute to her memory.
