Description

Detector find near Cowbridge. Gilded (officers?) metal button. On the button it says 'East Glamorgan Local Militia'. LOCAL VOLUNTEER MILITIA REGIMENTS 1808 - 1815. Eastern Glamorgan Regiment of Local Militia raised 1808 - under John Price of Llandaff. Disbanded 1816. A rare button!
