Description

The lifeboat shown is being brought to the sea-shore for launch. A lot of people crowding the vessel suggest how important and impressive the occasion probably was.
This particular boat saved twenty-six lives on nineteen service missions for Llandudno. It is a 37ft self-righter named after Port Sunlight where Lever Brothers Ltd. was based. The Lever Brothers were responsible for funding the construction of the vessel.
