Description

Oliver Hughes, born in Llanelli in 1896, served in the Royal Navy in the First World War. This is his Continuous Certificate of Discharge, which gives details of his naval service. The first ship on the list is HMS Marmora, an armed merchant cruiser which was torpedoed by a German submarine off the south coast of Ireland on 23 July 1918.
