Description

Oscar Harmer of Cardiff served with the 'Cardiff City Battalion' (16th Battalion, Welsh Regiment), and while training in North Wales he was responsible for looking after the unit's mascot - a goat. The photographs show Oscar tending the goat while on the beach in Colwyn Bay - see the soldiers marching behind him in one photograph.
