Description

These five young men from Cwmllynfi enlisted with the 10th Regiment of the Royal Welch Fusiliers on 11 November 1914. They travelled to France in November 1915. Hiram Davies (back, left) and Illtyd Williams (front, left) were stepbrothers. The names of the other three men were Morgan Edwards, William Harries and David John Jones, although it is not known which is which in the photograph.
