Description

The Church of St Catwg in Gelligaer took its current form when it was rebuilt in stone in the 13th century. Inside the church there are a number of remarkable artefacts including the village stocks, the 10th century stone from Capel Gwladys and a wood and glass screen to the Lady Chapel which was donated by David Morgan (who established David Morgan Department Store in Cardiff) who was married here in 1868.
