Description

Medals and dress accessories worn by Pte William Reardon. From top left clockwise: Great War medal, Victory Medal, Wound Stripe, Imperial Service Badge, Shoulder Title, Dog Tags, Cap Badge c.1920, Cap Badge and Rosary surrounding the portrait of Pte William Reardon. The Wound Stripe was awarded to any soilder wounded in combat and was worn on the left forearm of the uniform. The Territorial Force Imperial Service Badge was awarded to members of the territorial forces prepared to serve overseas in defence of the British Empire.
