Description

Thomas states that he leaves for France on the the very same day as the photograph is sent to friends and family. He asks that a copy be sent to his parents as they have no knowledge that he's leaving for France. Thomas Richard Jones was a Private in the King's Liverpool Regiment. He was the fourth son of Mr and Mrs J.R. Jones, Tyddyn Dicwm, Tregarth, Bangor. Thomas Richard Jones was killed in action at the age of 24 on the 9 April, 1917 at the battle of Arras.
