Description

This Christmas treat Box belonged to Philip Williams of Holyhead. Princess Mary gave these boxes as a gift to soldiers during the Great War. The box itself was made of brass and it would contain cigarettes and chocolates. Philip Williams and his two brother fought in the Somme, all three survived and returned home after the war.
