Strata Florida Abbey

Strata Florida, a 12th century Cistercian abbey, is located near the village of Pontrhydfendigaid in Ceredigion. Translated literally, it means Vale of Flowers and it is reputedly the burial place of medieval Welsh poet Dafydd ap Gwilym.
