Vetch Field Football Stadium, Swansea

Vetch field was home to Swansea Town (later City) Football Club, est 1912. A Grandstand (1913), Double Decker stand (1927) and later additions. Demolished 2011.
New stadium constructed in 2006 for Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys rugby team, replacing the demolished White Rock Stadium. Also known as the Morfa Stadium.

 A 9 year old Peter Owen at The Vetch Field's East Stand on the opening day of the 1981/2 season, the Swans' first in Division One.  They won the game vs Leeds United 5-1.
